Personal Overview :
I am a hard-hitting midfield back who possesses the skills to play both a "crash & bash" style of midfield play, as well as a distributing and second play-maker role. I have a good rugby brain and believe I have a strong knowledge of the game which has been enhanced through the coaching I have received through the Sports Scholarship Programme at Lincoln University where I have been coached by such people as; Wayne Smith (current All Blacks assistant coach), Mick Byrne (former All Blacks skills coach and current Japan forwards coach), and Todd Blackadder (Current Canterbury Crusaders head coach).
I am a typically laid back Kiwi who loves rugby and is looking to get out and see the world, and test my rugby abilities alongside and against players from other nations. I have many friends who have used rugby as a means to travel and thought, since I have played rugby in Canterbury since the age of 5, it was time I gave it a go too. I am dedicated and a true team player, and like to have fun in whatever I am doing.
